Due to the cancelled First Aid Training in November (the provider has been very apologetic about having to cancel at the last minute), CYC Waihola is now running the First Aid Refresher Course on Saturday 2oth December 2014 for all those that attended the First Aid training here in November 2012. Workplace First Aid is valid for two years.
The refresher course will run from 8.30am through to 12.30pm, is being run by the same provider as last time and will cost $115 per person.

FYI the full course that is also running the same day will cost $160 per person starting at 8.30am through to 5pm. Please let anyone else know that would benefit from this course to attend.
The instructors will be focusing on providing first aid scenarios and applications that CYC Leaders will encounter within the kids camp ministry. It is essential we have more first aid qualified leaders within our camps.
To make it cheaper we are making it a shared lunch so bring something to share – still talk to us if this is too much and we might be able to sweeten the deal for you if you are a poor lonely student.
At the end of the day you have a current First Aid Certificate that is valid for 2 years. You will come away with NZQA Unit Standards 26551 & 26552).
