THINKING MATTERS CAMPS
Apologetics and discipleship camps for young people who want to grow in their understanding of God and deepen their Christian faith.
TMC SOUTH 2027: 18 - 22 JANUARY 2027
Campers will learn reasons to be confident in what they believe as Christians. They will be equipped to explain the Christian faith to non-Christians. They will see that God is the most reasonable explanation as the origin of everything we see and experience in the world.

CYC Waihola is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all volunteers and children. We have strict health and safety procedures in place, including appropriate background checks and training for volunteers, as well as detailed policies and procedures covering supervision, emergency response, and risk management. We are OutdoorsMark and OSCAR (Te Kāhui Kāhu) accredited and undergo regular audits to maintain this accreditation. To access our Ministry Policy, don’t hesitate to contact staff.
All camp fees must be paid before camp begins, unless a prior arrangement has been made with CYC staff. Once your registration has been processed, you will receive an invoice via email.
Payments can be made via credit card or internet banking.
As an OSCAR-accredited camp, you may be eligible to apply for OSCAR funding to help with the cost of camp. We also qualify for Ministry of Health subsidies in certain circumstances.
If you are experiencing financial difficulty, please complete a sponsorship request form. Our team will review your application and determine what level of support may be available through our sponsorship fund.
Yes, we do. Our lost property collection is available after each camp. As items can accumulate quickly, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible if something has gone missing.
If we do not receive enquiries about lost items within 30 days of the camp ending, any unclaimed items will be donated to a local op shop.
